ALSAYER Group Partners with Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club For the sports season 2024/2023

ALSAYER held a signing ceremony to establish a joint sports cooperation agreement with the Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club on November 15, 2023. The joint agreement aims to promote and develop sports activities in Kuwait by providing comprehensive support and sponsorship from ALSAYER for the sporting activities, events and tournaments that organized by the Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club during the 2024/2023 season.
The signing ceremony was represented by Bengt Schultz COO of ALSAYER and Nasser Alwaleed Chairman of of the Board of Directors at Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club to initiate the sporting championship.
According to Bengt Schultz "We are delighted to be part of the sponsorship and development of the pentathlon in the State of Kuwait to attract more people who enjoy the sport, and what we admire is the club's ambition to spread this event widely among schools, universities and people with disabilities both male and female to offer an equal contesting opportunity. We also look forward to a fruitful partnership to let this championship develop experienced sporting talents and the participation of the community to continue healthy habits.
Nasser Alwaleed said: " This is not the club's first cooperation with ALSAYER Group, as ALSAYER has previously sponsored the National Day Modern Pentathlon Championship, which is the first and largest modern pentathlon championship in the history of Kuwait, and this sponsorship will be more comprehensive through its expansion and the action plan that we have already started implementing with our deep appreciation to ALSAYER Group and its support for the youth of Kuwait and the effective national participation to support and develop the Kuwaiti sports movement".
Eng. Nehad Al Haj Ali, Group Manager of Corporate Excellence Group, commented: "We are pleased today to renew our partnership with the Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club after the outstanding success achieved last year. This year, the events will extend over a period of six months, with the aim of enhancing the role of sports among young people to invest their energies in beneficial ways. ALSAYER Group in its partnership confirms the role of the private sector in adopting distinctive initiatives that benefit Kuwait, all thanks to the management of the Kuwait Modern Pentathlon Club for their efforts for the success of these partnerships that promote the development of modern pentathlon sport which includes running - laser shooting - swimming - fencing – obstacles”.
