Al-Sayer and Bahrah Trading Company Joins The Social Effort To Make A Difference

Bahrah Trading Company (BTC) one of the Al-Sayer Group Holding Companies along with its principle brand BOBCAT and the Group’s Corporate Excellence Department have partnered for the Marathon on World Cancer Day – ‘Running together to beat cancer’.

The event was attended by Abdulaziz Kiradoh Chief Financial Officer Trading, Nehad AlHaj Ali, Deputy Group Manager (DGM) Corporate Excellence, Gangadharan Biju Sales Manager BTC Heavy Equipment, Shibu Mohamed CSR Manager, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi Director of Kuwait Cancer Control Center (KCCI), Public Authority for Sports, First Step Team for Disease Prevention along with Al-Sayer Corporate Excellence team members including Yehia Othman, Ziyad Ibrahim, Mohamed Nemr. Enthusiastic public participated to create positive impact about the health and wellness in the society as well as to create awareness on the need to fight cancer.

Sharing Experience To Inspire
The marathon kicked off at the Al Shaab Swimming Pool Complex and concluded at Green Island located in the Arabian Gulf Road, followed by an experience sharing sessions by the survivors of the fatal illness where they explained how their willpower, positive thoughts, medical support and of course family support & care to fight the disease and successfully get back to a normal life.

The discussion highlighted the point of healthy lifestyle that can have a direct impact on cancer diagnosis. Significant percentage of cancer disease is caused due to irregular and imbalanced food habits, lack of exercise and unhealthy behavioral. To reduce the risk of cancer we shall encourage each other to maintain healthy living and periodic diagnosis, a vital message Al-Sayer Corporate Excellence, BTC and principle Bobcat wish to convey.

“Al-Sayer Sustainability and CSR policies aims to create social awareness related to society and wellbeing of the stakeholders. Through this initiative we wish to continue our engagement with the society to show the solidarity towards regional as well as global commitments to the fight against cancer” explained Eng. Nehad AlHaj Ali, Deputy Group Manager Corporate Excellence.
