BTC Participates in Annual Fireman’s Day 2017 in Cooperation With Kuwait Fire Service Directorate

In line with Group initiatives to support community affairs, Bahrah Trading Company (BTC) one of the Al-Sayer Group Holding Companies participated as one of the sponsors of Fireman’s Day 2017 organized by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) at the Souk Sharq Marina. The event was inaugurated by Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Sabah and was attended by senior officials from KFSD, Ministry of Interior, National Guards, KOC, KNPC etc. The annual event is held to honor the commitment, sacrifice and loyalty extended by firefighters when controlling fires, saving lives, and preserving properties.
Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Mekrad, the Director General of KFSD delivered the key note address explaining preparedness of KFSD in tackling challenges of fire prevention and firefighting especially in the backdrop of increasing high rise constructions. Mr. Bader Musaed Al-Sayer, Business Director Al-Sayer Group Holding received the memento in recognition of BTC’s sponsorship from the Minister State for Cabinet Affairs. Hamza Melakandy General Manager BTC along with his team members from were also present at the event.

Our wide range of special vehicles supports their operations with maximum efficiency”.
KFSD, KOC, KNPC and National Guard displayed a wide array of firefighting vehicles, equipment and support vehicles including fire trucks supplied by BTC. The event witnessed strong participation from public in response to KFSD’s effort to promote public awareness on fire prevention and tackling. BTC exhibited brochures and videos of their advanced firefighting vehicles and accessories including Empl, Magirus and Resqtec exclusively at their stand, which was visited by His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah Al Sabah, who also appreciated BTC’s partnership with the KFSD.
