DO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH AN ASSESSMENT CENTER?

If you wish to join our management team, yes. We use assessment centers as part of the selection process for all management roles. They’re normally used as the final stage of the recruitment process and are designed to reflect the demands of the role and the qualities we need. If we ask you to attend an assessment center, we’ll give you specific information about what to expect and how the event is structured.

WHY DOES ALSAYER USE ASSESSMENT CENTERS?
We use them because we they help us make the right hiring decision. Assessment centers are one of the most effective ways for us to get a detailed impression of whether or not someone is a good fit for a role.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME?
As with our other selection methods, you should think about the assessment center as a two-way process: You’ll have the opportunity to experience a range of activities that tell you more about our business, and allow you to make sure the role you’re applying for is right for you. You can demonstrate your full range of skills and personal qualities, and why you are a good fit for the role. You will have the chance to be observed by more than one person, making the overall process fairer to you. HOW DO I PREPARE FOR AN ASSESSMENT CENTER?

The best advice is to be yourself. Most exercises will provide you with some preparation time on the day and won’t involve any pre-work. You can also find lots of example tests and activities online, which will give you the opportunity to practice.
