The First Robotic-Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery in Kuwait

AlSayer Medical Company the local distributor for Smith+Nephew in Kuwait announced the first robotics-Assisted surgical procedure for total Knee replacement in Kuwait, the surgery done on 14th March 2022 by Dr. Tarek Roshdy, Consultant Orthopedic & Arthroplasty Surgeon.

The ground-breaking technology used for this procedure was developed by Smith+Nephew and helps the surgeon performing the procedure to accurately size and position the components of the orthopaedic implant and optimize ligament balance.
