CSR initiatives to encourage self-learning among students

As part of ALSAYER’s CSR initiatives to motivate high school students to take the next big step in self-learning, Group Corporate Excellence and Lexus Division in association with Zidnei, leading e-Learning application provider, developed ALSAYER Academy, an exclusive content library for Physics & Mathematics called.

ALSAYER Academy E-Learning Application is hosted in Google Play and iOS App Store featuring downloadable Physics & Mathematics online contents. 200+ students of senior secondary grades representing various schools in Kuwait downloaded the application and joined the competition. 70+ contestants participated in the final round of competition and selected (7) were declared as contest winners.

 

ALSAYER and Lexus Division in association with Zidnei hosted an event to appreciate the strong participation from students that contributed to the success of the contest. Mohamed Naser Al Sayer, Executive Board Member and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at ALSAYER Holding distributed awards and certificates to the contest winners.

 

According to Mahmoud Abou-Zahr Business Director at Lexus “Lexus always combines technology, science and expertise to ignite young minds, and with ALSAYER Academy contest high school children are empowered to practice and learn Physics, Mathematics to open the door to a future with unlimited possibilities in academics”.

 

Nehad Al-Haj Ali, Deputy Group Manager Corporate Excellence explained “our partnership for such competition and e-learning materials are aimed to raise the education level of high school students, through a systematic, and content rich curriculum. The orientation is facilitated by experienced and subjected oriented teachers through their careful guidance and coaching, which is accessed through online class rooms, video or smart devices-based learning for a bright academic future”.

ALSAYER and Lexus supported Zidnei E-Learning Apps to improve the learning skills of students in Kuwait. 33,000 students use Zidnei application with 80% success rate. This application consists of extensive libraries with more than 3,000 educational videos based on the ministry's curriculum, explained AbdulAziz Alfarhan, Managing Director Zidnei. More than 20,000 interactive exercises and questionnaires help students to develop and intelligent problem-solving methods to guide him to the right educational path.
